something mindless
Whenever you get the chance go to adventchristian.org and look at the list of AC church websites. Scroll down and you will see three churches named "First Advent Christian Church". If all of these are first then who is second? Is this a severe sign of competitiveness, stubbornness, or just plain laziness? If they are each first then what competition did they win to get there? Also, how many other "First" churches are out there? mmmmmmm...

When you were at Southwestern, did you ever hear people refer to the First Baptist Church of (city) simply as First Church? I always thought that was funny, I guess only the Baptist churches counted...lol!
"Who's on first?"
I think we should take a look at the cool church names the emerging church movement is coming up with: The Well; Solomon's Porch; Vine and Branches Christian Community; The Bridge; The Dwelling Place, etc...
I wonder what we could come up with. Otherwise, there is no First Advent Christian in Jacksonville. Maybe we should grab the "honor".
